It’s now been almost a month and a half since DRT switched to its new “three digit” route numbering scheme, and yet I’m seeing buses with “old” route number in Ajax virtually every day.

The leaked Metrolinx RTP information I discussed in my previous post seems particularly dubious today, given that Metrolinx Chair Rob MacIsaac has stated that the plan has evolved and continues to evolve, and that it is now unlikely that Metrolinx will recommend an Eglinton subway.

Today’s Globe and Mail includes an article on the Metrolinx Regional Transportation Plan, the draft version of which is expected to be released at the end of the month. The Globe states that they viewed a copy of the plan, and gives the following details:
