BRT Update

Here’s a small BRT update; the GTTA has added a set of “municipal presentations” to their agenda documents for Friday’s meetings.  These include the following information for the Hwy 2 BRT:

Improved transit travel times on Highway 2
Reduced congestion on the corridor by increasing overall people-moving capacity

Updated Schedules

DRT has updated their main schedule and map pages to include the December 3 route changes in Whitby. One note: the Bloor Victoria route looks somewhat different than I thought it would, as it runs south on Brock from Whitby GO to Water street, north on South Bloor to Victoria, along Victoria to Thickson, [...]

Route changes in Whitby

DRT has announced some route changes in Whitby effective December 3.  The existing Dial-a-Ride and GO Shuttle services are being replaced in favour of fixed-route service.

Weekday Peak Service to Port Whitby and Thickson and Wentworth Industrial Area with the new Route 922 Bloor/Victoria replaces Dial-a-Ride service to South Whitby
