I previous referenced a DRT press release on the 2007 service changes, including the fare increase. The press release includes this statement: “The new fare structure will provide passengers with a larger discount when purchasing multi-ride tickets or monthly passes compared to cash fare rates.”

DRT has had its 2007 budget approved by committee, with final approval by Council set for next week. The meeting minutes are here. There isn’t a lot of detail available, but the following is clearly stated:
